A captivating postseason for the Pleasantville baseball team continued Saturday night in Montezuma, but ended in a disappointing 1-0 loss in eight innings to BGM of Brooklyn in a Class 1A District Final.  Trojan ace Collin Thomas pitched a masterful game, carrying a no-hitter into the bottom of the eighth inning; but a brief lapse in judgement with two outs allowed the Bears to reach first base on an infield hit and the game-winning run to cross the plate.  The loss ends Pleasantville’s season at 23-10 overall.
