Melcher-Dallas was unable to escape the same fate as previous contests with Moulton-Udell; falling 14-4 to the Eagles in Tuesday night’s Class 1A District Quarterfinals. The Saints started strong with two runs in the top of the first inning, but committed six errors in the bottom of the frame to allow Moulton-Udell to seize control.

In all, Melcher-Dallas committed nine total errors, allowing only two earned runs. The loss ends the season for the Saints at 6-15 overall. Moulton-Udell moves on to face Twin Cedars Thursday night in the District Semifinals.
