Five errors and a quiet night at the plate cost the PCM baseball team dearly, as the Mustangs were shut out 4-0 Tuesday night by Bondurant-Farrar.

PCM actually out-hit the Bluejays 5-3, but all five of those hits were split between seniors Hutch Burns and Jordan Van Roekel.  Burns was 3-for-4 with a double, while Van Roekel had a double as well in a 2-for-3 night at the dish.

Alex DeWitte suffered the loss on the mound for the Mustangs, allowing four runs (two earned) on three hits in six innings, while striking out eight Bondurant-Farrar batters.

The loss drops the PCM baseball team to 19-9 overall.  They’ll face Pella Christian on Thursday.
