The Pella Public Library’s Summer Reading program, which shared a theme with Knoxville, is ending Tuesday as well. All submissions are needed by 9 at the library. Katie Dreyer, Youth Services Librarian says the kids who participate in the program have an easier time adjusting to school after the summer, because they have been exercising their minds during the downtime. The program was about more than just reading. The library hosted several presentations that focused on the “Dream Big” theme as well.
