On the second day of the southeastern Iowa road trip, the Knoxville Baseball Squad visited Pleasant Valley and fell to the Spartans 8-0 on Saturday, however the Panthers kept it close for most of the game. Pleasant Valley did not score until the fourth inning when two runs came home. Three more in the fifth and three in the six made the tally eight. Knoxville Coach Joel Johnson used four pitchers as Kevin Woodhouse took the loss going two innings. Tony Salato, Nollen Wallace, and C-J Mathias also pitched. Knoxville is now 7-25 on the season and will play host to Fairfield tonight, a game you can hear on AM 1320 KNIA starting at 7:30.
