Following District Tournament wins over a pair of very familiar opponents, the Twin Cedars baseball team take on a fresh opponent in tonight’s Class 1A District Final, as the Sabers will meet Sigourney in Ottumwa. The ten-run rule has been enacted in each of the last two victories for Twin Cedars (14-4 over Moravia and 11-1 against Moulton-Udell), and the Sabers will be hoping for that kind of continued offensive and defensive success tonight against the Savages. The opening pitch between Twin Cedars and Seymour in the Class 1A District 9 Finals is set for 7:00 p.m. tonight in Ottumwa.
