The Marion County Development Commission is looking for volunteers to help draw Iowans and others to Marion County. Executive Director Carla Eysink says that they still are looking for volunteers at their state fair booth. She explains the state fair is a vital part of their tourism strategy, as they hand out between 4000 and 6000 pamphlets of information every year. Volunteers would work a 3-hour shift and receive free admission to the fair. Eysink says they have a particular need for people that would volunteer during the 6-9pm shift as well as the weekend shifts. For more information, send an email to carla@redrockarea.com
