The Knoxville Boys Cross Country Squad seems strong once again this season. While Coach Mike Moats says the number seven ranking does not mean much right now…he was very pleased with the way things went Monday at the Panthers’ Early Bird Meet. Not only was he happy with the overall team championship, but his top runner, Wick Cunningham won by nearly two minutes. Moats says Cunningham will run even better as the season goes on. Moats knows that Cunningham will face better competition in their next meet September first at the Central College Invitational, where Pella will be among several state contending teams participating.
