The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released its preseason volleyball rankings yesterday, and one local team is expected to be amongst the top programs in the state. Twin Cedars has been awarded the No. 12 ranking in the preseason poll for Class 1A. The Sabers were 16-4 a season ago. Grundy Center is the early favorite in Class 1A. The Twin Cedars volleyball team opens competition next Thursday, August 30th, at home against Eddyville-Blakesburg.
