Much is made of the development of high school athletes from season to season, but the progress of their coaches is equally significant. For Twin Cedars volleyball coach Dani Breon, being able to identify which combinations of players work best together has been an important part of her growth as a coach.

“I know a lot more about different girls personalities, and where they fit better,” said Breon. “I like to try a lot of different rotations, and by doing that in past seasons and seeing where they fit and how they work with each other, I can tell which ones should be on the front line together and which ones should be in the back.”

Twin Cedars is scheduled to open the 2012 volleyball season at home on August 30th against Eddyville-Blakesburg.
