The Pella High volleyball team finished with a win and three losses at Saturday’s Southeast Polk Invitational.  Just two days after being swept by Oskaloosa in Pella, the Lady Dutch again fell to the Indians in straight sets 21-8, 21-16.  Pella showed their resolve, though, by coming back to blow past Des Moines Hoover 21-7, 21-10.  The day finished with losses to Southeast Polk – 21-14, 21-12 – and Ottumwa – 25-23, 21-14.  The Pella High volleyball team is now 6-11 overall this season.  They’ll take a few days off from competition before returning to the court on Thursday to host Ballard in non-conference play.
