Forward Emily Saville headed in a last-minute pass to give the Central College women’s soccer team a dramatic 3-2 triumph at Northwestern College Tuesday.  With just 31 seconds remaining, Saville knocked home a perfectly delivered cross from midfielder Alyssa Fuller for the deciding score. It was her second goal of the season.

Forward Alayna Bailey had given Central a 2-1 lead with a pair of earlier goals. Bailey now has a team-best 10 goals for the season, matching her career-high total from last year.

The Dutch are now 6-2 overall and nearing the end of a nine-game, 15-day gauntlet and after making the long trek back Tuesday night, must prepare to take on Grinnell College Thursday at Pella. The Pioneers are 1-4-1, dropping three games by 1-0 scores.
