Following a pair of wins in three matches at their own tournament over the weekend, the Melcher-Dallas volleyball team will return to competition again tonight.  The Saints are 4-6 overall and leaning heavily on a pair of seniors to lead the way.

Setter Lexi Crozier is again orchestrating the offense, as she’s already dished out 98 assists.  Crozier is also one of the most efficient players from the service line for Melcher-Dallas; where she is 84-for-92 with 15 aces.  Fellow senior Madyson Riebhoff is equally potent, converting on 82-of-85 service attempts with 14 aces.  Riebhoff also helps set the offense in motion, as she’s notched a team-best 67 digs.  On the attack, junior Mackenzie Suntken is the Saints’ primary weapon, as she is by and large the team leader in kills with 57.

Tonight the Melcher-Dallas volleyball team hosts Bluegrass Conference foe Murray, with the opening serve of the varsity match set for roughly 7:15 p.m.
