The early season schedule does not get any easier tonight for the PCM football team, as the Mustangs take on West Marshall in State Center. PCM is coming off of a lopsided loss to Pella Christian last week in a game that saw Mustangs’ running back and linebacker Blake McWilliams taken off the field by ambulance after a frightening injury. PCM head coach Greg Bonnett says McWilliams is doing well and could even potentially return to the football field this season; but the team will certainly have to go without him tonight. West Marshall, meanwhile, is off to a 3-0 start and looking every bit the quality program that went 12-1 and defeated PCM to reach the Class 2A State Semifinals a season ago. Tonight’s contest in State Center is the final non-district game of the season for PCM, and will be streamed live on kniakrls.com – with Justin Webster providing the play-by-play. Pregame coverage of PCM football begins at 7:00 p.m. tonight.
