Coming off a 73-28 loss to H-L-V, the Twin Cedars Sabers are looking to bounce back with three games remaining on their schedule for a push towards the playoffs. Sabers’ head coach Aaron Allspach said that if his team can improve on the fundamentals, they may have a shot at a postseason appearance.

“Three games that if we come to play, we have a chance to win. But at the same time there’s a lot of work that needs to be done with our football team; down to the basics like how important every little block is, getting off blocks, and getting to the second level. We’ll watch film, and we know that we’ve got some work to do, but these next three games if we come to play, then maybe we’ll have a shot.”

Twin Cedars currently sits with a 2-4 record overall with a 1-3 standing in Eight-Man District 5 play. Their Week 6 match-up on Friday will be at home against a 1-5 Seymour Warriors squad.
