Even though they’re locked into the number two seed in Eight-Player District 5, the Melcher-Dallas Saints will not be taking their opponent lightly, facing Meskwaki on the road. The Saints are 6 – 1 overall and 5 – 1 in district games, the only game they lost was to District 5 champion H-L-V. Twin Cedars, on the other hand, has their destiny completely in their hands, as they’ll be hosting Tri-County this evening, in a winner-take-all matchup to determine the fourth seed out of District 5. Twin Cedars is 4 – 4 overall and 3 – 3 in the district. The winner of tonight’s game will play Murray on the road this coming Wednesday in the first round of the postseason, while the loser will have to wait until 2013 for their next chance to make it to state.
