After assuring themselves at least a visit to the postseason this year, the Pella High football team are looking to take the Class 3A District 8 title. First things first, they must defeat a tough Oskaloosa team. No matter how well either team is doing on the year, when it comes to rivalry games, you can “throw all records out the window and just play the game,” according to Little Dutch head football coach, Jay McKinstrey. He also mentioned the fact that it’s senior night for the Little Dutch, their last regular season home game, and he would love to send his seniors out with a win. Friday night’s game against Oskaloosa starts at 7:30 p.m.
