Senior Ashley Smith had a strong finish to her Iowa Conference career, posting her best score and climbing to third at the Iowa Conference Women’s golf tournament on Saturday. Despite the cold conditions at Bos Landen Golf Club, Smith was still able to shoot an 85-80-78-86 for a total weekend score of 330. Her solid showing over the weekend was enough to earn her Special Mention honors in women’s golf for IIAC athlete of the week. The weekend tournament concludes Central’s fall golf season.
