With just the hurdle of the South Central Conference schools voting to allow Knoxville’s to return to the conference after nearly a 20 year absence…fans may be wondering what will the Knoxville athletic schedules look like in the future. Athletic Director Randy Wilson says with the exception of football…not much different than they do now. He says Knoxville already in most sports plays many of the existing South Central Conference schools including Albia, Centerville, Chariton, and Davis County. The other two schools Eddyville-Blakesburg and Clarke are not on all of the schedules but will be once the move is completed. Wilson also adds that he is hopeful that the other Little Hawkeye Conference schools would be able to stay on the schedules for at least one game per season.
