Fall means most of the work at the Central College Organic Garden is completed. Paul Weihe, Professor of Biology at Central, says that this year there was a growing student interest in the garden, with many students requesting their own plots to grow. The garden had a booming potato crop this year according to Weihe, although the season wasn’t great for tomatoes. Weihe says that the goal of this garden is to help students form sustainable, healthy habits that will last long after they leave college.
