The KNIA/KRLS Breast Cancer Save-a-Life Radiothons takes place Tuesday at Pella Regional Health Center and Thursday at Knoxville Hospital and Clinics. The purpose of the radiothons is to encourage women to schedule a mammogram. Doctors say that early detection is key when fighting breast cancer. Knoxville Hospital and Clinics will also hold a Girls’ Night Out for the event. There will be a number of vendors tailored toward women and a luminary to honor and remember those who have fought breast cancer.
