The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce has voted to move into the Dixie Gebhardt building. Chamber Director Larissa Van Donselaar says that the move is contingent on the Chamber selling their current office sometime in the next six months. The City of Knoxville recently purchased the building as part of the Library’s expansion project. The Library Board then made an offer to the Chamber to share space in the building. Van Donselaar says that they still have a few more items to negotiate and finalize, but they’re excited about the possible move.
