The Knoxville Cross Country Squads are finding their rhythm on the course these days. The Panthers had a good night Tuesday at their Invitational with respective fourth place finishes. Coach Mike Moats says the kids are working to run patiently, meaning not get too excited when the race starts. He adds when they struggle is when the runners get out too quickly and get into what he calls oxygen debt, where they struggle to keep pace with the runners in front of them. He says when patience and discipline come together, both boys and girls will be more competitive each time out.
