The Pella High volleyball girls made it a quick affair at Norwalk last night, sweeping the Warriors in three sets, 25 – 16, 25 – 15, and 25 – 19. Leading the way for Pella was Shannon Ewing, who was 11/12 serving with four aces. Ewing also contributed ten kills. Sophomore Jessica Holterhaus chipped in seven kills and freshman Makenna Bogaard added eight kills of her own. The Lady Dutch now sit with a 17 – 15 record on the year, and are 3 – 2 in Little Hawkeye Conference play. Pella’s final games of the season take place next Tuesday on the 16th, in a triangle tournament at home against Centerville and Newton, which will be their final matches before playing at Newton in the Class 4A volleyball regionals on the 22nd.
