Work is nearing an end at the intersection of Pleasant and Lincoln in Knoxville. The intersection has been partially closed for a number of months now as part of the West Area Relief Sewer Project. Assistant City Manager Dylan Feik says that the contractor is now going through what they call the “punch list” – that’s something they do as they start cleaning up little details near the end of the project. Feik says there’s no hard date on when the intersection will be open, though he says it’ll probably occur in the next couple weeks. The contractor’s deadline for finishing the project is the 16th of November.
