With the postseason drawing near, two of our area eight-man teams are looking to take another step towards accomplishing their goals of either finishing in the top four of district five or winning the district title. Melcher-Dallas, who defeated an unbeaten Wayne squad Friday, will be in non-district action this week as they host a 6 – 2 Lenox team. Twin Cedars, on the other hand, will be fresh off a bye week after steamrolling over Seymour 77 – 8 on the 28th of September. They will have had two weeks to prepare for a trip to Moravia, team that is winless on the season. Currently, Twin Cedars is tied for the fourth spot with Tri-County, a team they’ll face for the season finale at home on the 19th, that will determine who plays another week and who is done for the year. Both games will kickoff Friday at 7:00 p.m.
