Pella took the annual cross-county battle with Knoxville in volleyball last night three games to one 25-21, 15-25, 25-23, and 25-18. The Lady Dutch won games three and four to clinch the match after Knoxville tied it at one apiece. Leading the way for Pella was Shannon Ewing with 12 kills while Regan Nelson had 29 assists, Makenna Bogaard was 15/15 serving ,Jessica Holterhaus had six blocks, and Taelor Rempe had 22 digs. Leading the way for Knoxville was Chambray Daugherty with 19 kills, Meredith Cunningham had 29 assists and 22 digs, while Jamie Rinehart went 22/22 serving with two aces. Pella is now 12-14 on the season and 2-2 in the Little Hawkeye Conference while Knoxville falls to 10-19, and 1-4 in conference play.
