After a 31 – 7 shellacking of Southeast Warren last Friday, Coach Gabe Bakker and his Pleasantville Trojans would be more than happy to finish the season with a 3 – 6 record, given how their 2012 football season started. The Trojans are back home for their final two games of the season Friday, first up is a visit from North Mahaska, New Sharon. “I think we kind of matchup well with them,” Bakker said. “I think if we can eliminate some of these turnovers again; it seems like it’s something we’ve been saying for seven weeks now, but if we can eliminate the turnovers, I think we’ve got a good shot against North Mahaska.” That was Pleasantville head football coach, Gabe Bakker, who went on to say that getting Trey Busick and the running game going would also be a big key to victory in this Friday’s matchup. The week eight game between the Trojans and Warhawks starts at 7:00 p.m.
