As the Knoxville Wrestling Squad embarks on its season opener on the mat tomorrow night against Newton, four Panthers find themselves ranked in the top ten of their respective weight classes. The Predicament released the class 2A rankings and James Stittsworth in number nine in the 126 points weight class, also Tyler Chatterton is eighth in the 160 pound weight class. Chatterton was a state qualifier last season. Also in the top ten are: Aaron Crossett ranked seventh at 170 pounds, and Colton Spaur ranked sixth at 182 pounds. Knoxville will wrestle this season in class 2A which Coach Ron Peterson says should help many of the guys reach their goal of the state meet. However he adds, it will be a tough road to state with the likes of Albia, Centerville, Grinnell, and Chariton in the Sectional and Creston and Winterset in the district round.
