The Central men’s basketball team are off to a 3 – 0 start, and will be looking to push that streak to four when they head to Illinois today to play Eureka. The Red Devils won their first two games of the season over Lincoln Christian and Monmouth and are coming off a game last night against Rockford. Eureka is led by Mark Lessen and Dustin Fritsch who are averaging over 20 points per game. For Central, they feature four players who average at least 15 points per game. Central’s head men’s basketball coach, Craig Douma, told KNIA/KRLS Sports, that he’s looking for his team to win the turnover battle in today’s game. They have averaged 18 turnovers per game as opposed to their opponents’ 14. Today’s game in Eureka tips off at 3:00 p.m.
