The Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad is trying to improve on a one-win season from last year. Right now, there is no set goal of how many games Coach Jeff Larson and the players want to win. He says the main goal is to get better not just in games, but every day in practice and get better through each minute of the game. Larson is happy with the overall progress of the team in practice for the first couple of weeks. Last night, Knoxville played Lynnville-Sully in a jamboree at Montezuma and tied the Hawks 29-all. Larson said overall the guys played well against a good Lynnville-Sully squad. Knoxville gets its season underway Tuesday night at Albia.
