A few Knoxville High School students spent the election season learning how to decipher information in the media. Megan and Melissa Molloy and Jamie Hunt spent the fall taking part in a program called “News Know How” through a grant given to the Knoxville Library. The presented their findings in front of a group of around 20 people earlier this month at the Library. The girls say they analyzing about 100 different articles each from three separate daily newspapers. They noted that they won’t be able to see the news the same way again, as they are now more aware of biases in the media.
