KNIA/KRLS has been asking various Knoxville varsity coaches about the coming move from the Little Hawkeye Conference to the South Central Conference in 2014. Panthers boys basketball coach Jeff Larson is taking a wait and see approach to the S-C-C. Larson says the Little Hawkeye Conference is one of the best conferences in the state. He adds the South Central is no slouch either. The South Central Conference still must vote to accept Knoxville into the conference…that votes comes in December. If accepted, the Panthers would start play in 2014.
