Many Topics to be Discussed at Pella Regional Open House

Pella Regional Health Center is holding an open house in their Rehabilitation Clinic. The open house will have a number of presentations on different topics, ranging from sports injuries, to forgetfulness. They will also be showing some of their new physical rehabilitation equipment. The open house will have two sessions. A lunch session will be held from 11am to 1pm, and the dinner session will be held from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

 

Day Informational Sessions:

11:15 am

11:45 am

Cholesterol and a Healthy/Active Lifestyle by Dr. Doug Kanis, Internal Medicine

12:15 pm

Forgetfulness: What’s Normal, What’s Not? by Speech Therapy staff

Evening Informational Sessions:

5:45 pm

Lymphedema: Got Swelling? We Have Solutions by Occupational Therapy staff

6:15 pm

Sports Injuries Around the Knee and the Non-Arthritic Sources of Knee Pain by Dr. Christopher Vincent, Orthopedics

6:45 pm

Getting Back In the Game: ACL Rehab by Gary Elises, PT, CSCS and Amy Stevens, ATC, CSCS
