Coming off a season-opening loss to Albia, the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad hits the road again tonight against P-C-M. The Panthers struggled from the field shooting only 29-percent and going just 1/11 from three point range. Coach Jim Utiermarkt says the shooting has to get better tonight and along with that…means taking better shots. On the boys side, Knoxville is looking for a spark after losing to Albia by 28 points in the Panthers’ season opener Tuesday night. Knoxville also struggled to make shots, and along with that Coach Jeff Larson says the play must be more intense than Tuesday night. He adds if the guys turn up the intensity, they will have a better chance of staying in the game. You can hear the play-by-play on AM 1320 KNIA and streamed live at kniakrls.com with Derek Cardwell and Justin Webster starting with the pre game at six.
