If you’re noticing a trend, it’s the philosophy that coach Garland is implementing this season, that no one game is more important than another. In fact, Garland told KNIA/KRLS Sports that “every time we put on the Pella uniform, that becomes the most important game.” It may be a coach’s cliché, but after losing a good chunk of their players to graduation, it is the smartest way to look at things.
