The fifth place Pleasantville Trojans football team had seven athletes take home All-District honors out of Class A District 6 for their efforts in the 2012 season. On the first team all-district was running back, Trey Busick, receiver Chris Peden, and offensive linesman Eric Perryman, all seniors. On the second team all-district was Mac Moore and Patrick Sheehey, and receiving honorable mentions were quarterback Hagen Fouch and Zach Patterson. Two other members of the Trojans squad earned the “Golden Award,” which is handed out to athletes who could have made it to the all-district team, but were injured for a majority of the season, and those two Pleasantville football players were Matt Prill and James Haberling. The Trojans won their last three games of the season to finish with a 3 – 6 overall record, and a 3 – 4 Class A District 6 mark which was good enough for fifth place in the district.
