The Knoxville Football Program will for sure take a hit to graduation with what Coach Troy Rider calls, top end talent. Gone will be running back Colton Spaur who gained 896 yards and scored ten touchdowns. Also being lost to graduation is leading receiver Ryan Douglas and his 443 yards and five touchdowns. Also on the defensive side of the ball the top three leading tacklers in Aaron Crossett, Douglas, and Reed Long, plus Derek Glover who led the team with three interceptions. However Rider says the guys coming back are good team guys who will be responsible for leading the team next season. Back for another varsity season with be quarterback Gerrit Davis, and dual threat Tanner Dunkin among others. Rider says while a lot of talent will leave the program…he is confident that the players coming back will step up their game for next season.
