The Pleasantville Trojans’ basketball teams are making the long trip to Leon to face Central Decatur tonight. The girls’ team is coming off a close loss to Melcher-Dallas on Tuesday, 50 – 47; a game that that Trojans had a ten point lead late in the game. Sophomore Kennedy Core had a game high 28 points in the loss, and in tonight’s game, head coach Aaron Fichter, said a key to the game this evening will be getting others involved in the offense. For the boys, they looked very impressive in a 72 – 52 win on Tuesday, also over the Saints. Coach Tom Wilkins said if his guys can perform the fundamentals, they can move to 2 – 0 on the year. The Pleasantville – Central Decatur game tips off first with the girls’ game at 6:30 p.m. and the boys’ game tipping off at around 8:00.
