William Penn forced the Central women’s basketball team into 34 turnovers and won Thursday night 83 – 65. Every other facet of the game was clicking for the Dutch women; outrebounding the Statesmen 45 – 27, and outshooting them 47.9 percent to 43.2 percent. William Penn was able to score 32 points off of the Dutch’s numerous turnovers. Three players were in double figures for Central, led by Alyssa Schwartz who had 15 points. Nicole Strasko and Kalli Richardson each added 12. The Central Dutch women’s basketball team have dropped their last two contests and now sit with a 3 – 2 record, and will try to turn things around tomorrow when they host Waldorf at 1:00 p.m.
