It was a rough week for Central’s men’s and women’s basketball teams, but they’ll both look to turn it around as they’re both on the same court for the first time in over a week this afternoon. Turnovers have been the thorn in the side of the 3 – 2 Dutch women the past two games, giving the ball away 60 times in losses to North Central and William Penn. Today, they’ll be hosting Waldorf, a team that is 6 – 4 on the year. Over on the men’s side, they kept it close, but were outlasted by William Penn 92 – 83 on Wednesday for their first loss of the season. The 4 – 1 Dutch men will be playing Iowa Wesleyan, a team with a 5 – 6 record on the 2012-13 campaign who have had problems scoring and turning the ball over so far this year. You can hear all of the action live from P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium on FM 92.1 KRLS with Cory Houser and Justin Webster on the call, starting with the pregame show at 12:45 p.m., and tip-off of the women’s game at 1:00. You can also stream the game live on our website kniakrls.com.
