Following their sweep in Florida at the Gulf Coast Duals, the Central Dutch Wrestling team moved up one spot to No. 14 in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III poll. The Dutch started the season ranked No. 29, but have moved up after beating a ranked St. Olaf team, losing by one to No. 8 Coe, and winning their last six dual meets. Wartburg College remains at number one, while Dubuque jumped up to 16th. Individually, Ryan Davis is now number nine in the 149-pound lineup. His record on the season is 13 – 3, and just recently, he broke a 30-plus year school record for fastest pin, with a 21-second fall against Knox College earlier this month. Central is on a break right now, and will next wrestle in Dubuque at Loras College on January 10.
