Following a mental break for finals this week, the Pella Christian Eagles’ basketball teams will be making the bus trip to Dordt College to face Western Christian this Saturday. While a lot of Eagles’ fans will be anticipating the rematch between the Eagles’ and Wolfpack girls, the boys’ teams are also playing good basketball at the moment. The Eagles are 5 – 1 while Western Christian is sitting at 5 – 0. Pella Christian boys’ head basketball coach, Larry Hessing, told KNIA/KRLS Sports that the team will be preparing for the Wolfpack this week and his coaching staff was able to see them play over the summer. Hessing also said that they are going to treat the game like a “small college road trip,” making the trek in the morning then coming back late at night.
