The Pella Christian and Knoxville varsity bowling teams will begin their season today at Fairlane Bowl on Lincoln Street in Knoxville. Pella Christian will have a brand new look to their boys and girls varsity teams on the lanes this year, as they graduated many of their seniors after the last school year. Eagles head coach, Rod Blunck, told KNIA/KRLS Sports that so far in practice, the girls have been fairly consistent and the boys are still getting a feel for their shots being fairly new to varsity action. Blunck said that it will come down to converting on spares and wants to see good sportsmanship out of his players on Saturday. Joining Knoxville and Pella Christian will be Oskaloosa, Norwalk and Newton in the team meet that will get underway at noon.
