The Pleasantville girls’ and boys’ basketball teams both lost on Tuesday night to the Road Runners of I-35 High School. Leading the way for the Pleasantville girls was Kennedy Core as she put up 26 of Pleasantville’s 32 points on the night. The Trojans went into the locker room down ten but were unable to get any momentum in the second half. The Road Runners ran away after the break to win 58-32. The girls are now 0-7 on the year. The Pleasantville Boys lost for the first time this year on Tuesday night as they fell 63-40 to I-35. After an unusual slow start for the Trojans, in which they fell behind 8-3 in the opening minutes of the game, they were never able to get on track the rest of the evening. Trevor Zoss led the Trojans with 16 points on the night. The boys are now 4-1 on the year. Both the boys’ and girls’ team will be in action on Friday night as Bedford rolls into Pleasantville.
