Melcher-Dallas returns home from a couple weeks on the road, while Twin Cedars continues their lengthy home stay, as both schools will be involved in basketball doubleheaders tonight. For the Saints, the boys had a 2 – 2 road trip, with wins over Seymour and Moravia, while the girls went 1 – 3. The girls’ and boys’ basketball teams wrap up the 2012 portion of their schedules this week, starting with a visit from Mormon Trail who is 1 – 3 on the girls’ side. For Twin Cedars, the girls are off to a fast 5 – 0 start thanks to offense from their senior Alee Hugen, who has averaged around 20 points per game. The boys are 2 – 2 so far this season, and are coming off a loss to a ranked Lamoni team on Friday. Seymour will be making the trip to Bussey to face Twin Cedars tonight, as both the Saints’ and Sabers’ girls’ teams will tipoff at 6:15 p.m.
