Bedford rolls into Pleasantville tonight for a girls-boys basketball doubleheader on the hardwood. The young Trojans’ girls seemingly have their hands full, going up against the No. 1 ranked Bedford team that is 7 – 0 on the season. If the Trojans want to be competitive in the ballgame, they are going to have to look for Kennedy Core to have a career night, and have some of their more experienced players step up and drain some key shots when they need them. The Pleasantville boys’ team is coming off of their first loss of the season at the hands of the Road Runners, and now have a 4 – 1 record. The Bulldogs’ boys are 3 – 3 so far, struggling to find some consistency, and Trojans’ head coach, Tom Wilkins, said that regardless of records, you can’t predict what team will show up when you play them. The girls’ teams will tipoff the doubleheader between the two schools tonight at 6:15 p.m.
