Both of Twin Cedars’ varsity basketball teams will be in action today, as the boys will be looking to bounce back after a humbling loss to Murray, and the girls will try and improve their record to 4 – 0. The Sabers’ boys fell to Murray on Friday, 71 – 44, as they just couldn’t get their offense going. Davis County is coming off a win over Knoxville themselves on Friday, as both teams are 1 – 1 on the young season. Over on the girls’ side of things, Twin Cedars won by four over Murray, 56 – 52 this past Friday. Head girls’ coach, Justin Nolte, said he wants to see the same intensity out of his girls in their game today, and he also wants to see them hit the boards as hard as they did against the Mustangs, when his Sabers pulled down 32 rebounds. The girls/boys doubleheader against Davis County tips off at 6:15 p.m. with the girls’ game first.
