Knoxville Hospital and Clinics has announced a change is coming in their Physical Therapy Department. 21st Century Rehab, from Nevada, has been selected to lead the Department going forward. Dr. Susan Woodle will be joining 21st Century Rehab to lead the department. CEO Kevin Kincaid says, after a review of different proposals, their administrative team felt 21st Century had the best plan going forward in sports medicine, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. 21st Century Rehab is currently interviewing therapists, assistants, and support staff to join their team. It is the intent that any new therapist or staff providing care will live in Knoxville or the hospital’s service area. The transition is expected to take place between March 1st and April 1st.
