Former Knoxville Track and Field Standout Alex Edwards received the Midwest Collegiate Conference Track Athlete of the Week award this week. The current William Penn University runner set a new school record in the 800 and set an N-A-I-A “B” mark with a time of 1:56.30. Edwards also qualified for the N-A-I-A National Indoor Meet in March which takes place in Geneva, Ohio.
